The story begins very traditionally in an ordinary school, and since it's about American football, unsurprisingly, this school has an American football club facing the threat of closure. Within the club are a few enthusiasts who are crazy about American football and dream of entering some kind of high school league equivalent to "Koshien" or "National Tournament." Unfortunately, they can never gather enough people. In desperation, these guys continue to hone their skills until one day, a complete stranger appears—a potential prodigy, a former player, or a fiery coach—and starts recruiting members, step by step realizing their dreams. This is the most standard formula, but ES21 completely shatters it, thanks to the efforts of Viper (Shimada Hitoshi). From his first appearance, he sets his sights on the running ability of the protagonist, Hayakawa Sena, trying to drag him into his team. However, the method he uses is to fraudulently obtain Sена's home phone number and then shamelessly bombard him with endless calls (and this part is handled quite logically |||). Tortured beyond endurance, Sena accidentally stumbles into the American football club's room and is moved by the sole two remaining members, Riku Ryo, wanting to become an excellent American football team manager. Of course... this is probably just a dream that will never come true.
