Introduction:

"Zeitgeist Addendum" is the second documentary in a series that discusses global conspiracies. It was released on October 3, 2008. The world's technological progress has been so rapid that productivity has significantly increased, and theoretically, the cost of all products should be very low. However, paradoxically, the prices of housing and food are unreasonably high. This is because their supply is artificially controlled, turning what could be an abundant supply into scarcity, thereby driving up housing and commodity prices. As a result, people have to struggle for their livelihoods, sacrificing their lives (time) to make money for those at the top. Isn't this slavery? Imagineer understands that overturning seemingly obvious "facts" may be hard to accept, but please try to question them...

Imagine if the supply of housing and food were as unrestricted as air or the internet; their prices would then approach cost price. In theory, everyone's cost of living could be extremely low, low enough for everyone to not have to work such long hours, allowing us to place our lives (time) in more important areas, doing things humans should do, such as learning, creating, improving the world, thinking, and loving. What impact would it have on our lives if financial, accounting, and investment professions disappeared? Even if there were impacts, they would only affect a small portion of wealthy people on Earth. Unequal resource distribution leads to even greater inequality. Unfortunately, even natural resources like water supplies have started being manipulated, gradually becoming commodities, requiring us to contribute our lives (time) to "them" in exchange. It might take another 100 years for someone to abolish this inhumane monetary slavery system, and today most people, much like Socrates who approved of slavery at the time, see nothing wrong with it. So, what would an ideal society look like?
