Lost is currently one of the most popular TV series in the United States and has won the Emmy Award for Best Drama Series.
The story unfolds from the perspective of Jack, a professional doctor. It mainly tells the story of a passenger plane that crashes on a deserted island in the Pacific Ocean, with 48 passengers surviving by chance. At first, people are glad to have survived and look forward to the arrival of rescue teams. They gradually discover that this small island seems to have been visited by people like them before. Their distress signal has been broadcast non-stop for 16 years, but it seems that no one has discovered their existence...
As they interact more during their struggle for survival, they begin to rely on each other. However, everyone has secrets that cannot be revealed... The survivors are diverse in nationality, race, cultural background, and personality. Among the 14 main characters, there are siblings, father-son pairs, friends, couples, and enemies. They need to overcome harsh weather conditions, search for food and water in the wild tropical jungle, and deal with a mysterious creature that emits terrifying cries at night; people keep disappearing and dying mysteriously...
And as the secrets of the island are revealed one by one, new questions also arise. The Others, the Dharma Initiative, the purge, Jacob... More and more mysteries make the audience lost in "Lost" as well.
My wife is very fond of this show, it's still worth a watch.
