The specialty store also said there was no problem with the quality of the garment, but so far there has been no conclusion.
Mr. Li from Xiangwang Dry Cleaning Shop replied: Indeed, there was a case where a jacket became stiff after dry cleaning, but we did clean it according to the label's requirements. Later, we received another similar piece of clothing and washed it with water instead, which resulted in normal condition afterward.
The owner of the brand clothing specialty store, Mr. Yu, replied: Mr. Shu brought the clothes on January 21st. It was close to the Spring Festival at that time, so we didn't have time to send it to the company for inspection. However, we imported 60 sets of these clothes and have sold over 40 sets, with no one reporting such an issue. Now, the company's test results are out, indicating that the reason is due to excessively high temperature during dry cleaning, which caused the deep layer of the garment to harden. This is attributed to improper dry cleaning operation, but the company is willing to take responsibility for the consumer's loss.
