Introduction:

High school student Nick is the bassist of a band, having recently broken up with his girlfriend. Norah is a girl full of curiosity about things. The two have very different personalities but share a deep love for music. One day, they meet at a concert and fall in love.

"Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist" is a romantic comedy about two young people who become a couple due to their shared interests. The two protagonists are immersed in wild, sleepless music parties filled with various kinds of music, where live performances can be heard until midnight. Nick (played by Michael Cera) often attends independent rock concerts in New York to heal his heartbreak—being dumped by his girlfriend is not easy to endure. Meanwhile, he performs on stage as a bassist to vent his frustration, even though his skills aren't that great. Norah (played by Kat Dennings) is someone who doubts almost everything in the world. Despite having few similarities other than their shared taste in music, fate brings them together, leading them to chase legendary bands and mysterious performances. In the end, they realize that the best part isn’t the concert itself, but the romantic atmosphere of their first date, which is enough to change their lives forever.
