Ninja Sarutobi Comic Introduction:
Sarutobi was one of the very famous Ten Heroes of Sanada from the Japanese Warring States period. He was granted the name "Sasuke" for aiding Sanada Saemonsuke Yukimura. In the later Edo period (1825), in the "Osaka Summer Campaign Formation Map," Sarutobi Sasuke's name appears. In the "Standing River Library," Sarutobi Sasuke is the son of a local samurai, Takao (Eagle Grave) Sataemon, from Shinshu Torii Pass. He trained under Tazawa Hakuenji of the Koga-style ninjutsu and later became a vassal of Yukimura. (Sanada Yukimura was once recognized as Japan's top warrior.) Sarutobi is a legendary ninja who lives up to his name with his ability to climb and leap among trees like a monkey, moving without a trace; at the same time, he possesses excellent martial arts skills in hand-to-hand combat, making him impossible for people to catch.
