This series is CBS Television's flagship comedy in the United States. It has already won one Emmy Award, seven other major awards, including two Golden Globe nominations among eighteen various nominations.

Charlie is a carefree bachelor, but the sudden visit of his brother Alan, who is facing a divorce crisis, along with his son Jake, completely disrupts Charlie's leisurely life. With three men making a show, there's plenty of fun to be had. Against the backdrop of last year's nationwide decline in sitcom viewership, "Two and a Half Men" made a strong push, achieving the impressive result of being the second most-watched sitcom in the country, which certainly commands respect.

The name "two and a half men" comes from little Jack also being quite lecherous; due to his young age, he only counts as half a man.

The main characters are the two brothers—Charlie Sheen, star of classic films like Wall Street, Platoon, and TV shows like Spin City, is the son of Martin Sheen (star of The West Wing and Apocalypse Now) and the ex-husband of Bond girl Denise Richards, who is currently going through a divorce. He is the epitome of a playboy, very skilled with women, earns a lot of money despite doing almost no work, producing music for commercials. His life revolves around a constant stream of beautiful women and music. However, Alan's arrival disrupts his happy bachelor lifestyle.

Alan was kicked out by his wife and moves in with his brother Charlie. He works as a masseur. Alan is a responsible husband who always bends to his wife’s will, but his nagging personality and sticky temperament make him resemble Tang Monk (a character from Journey to the West). He keeps trying to reconcile with his wife, even going back to do chores during their separation, only to find out that she has declared herself a lesbian.

There is a son, Jake, who is chubby and adorable. Despite his young age, he is also somewhat lecherous and can eat anything. His seemingly foolish wisdom makes him a big highlight of this show, not at all overshadowed by the two adult male leads. He rivals Calvin from "Calvin and Hobbes."

It's worth mentioning the supporting characters: the devilish mother who casts a shadow over the brothers' relationships with women, the harsh ex-wife, the arrogant housemaid, and the neighbor Rose who has been stalking Charlie ever since they spent one night together.

The story unfolds around these three main characters and the women in their lives, with many guest appearances, including actresses from "Singin' in the Rain," Desperate Housewife Susan, Charlie's real-life wife, and Charlie's father, veteran actor Martin Sheen... Numerous celebrities and beauties weave in and out of the narrative.

Charlie is a wealthy bachelor with a beach house, a Jaguar parked in front, and an easy charm with women. His laid-back Malibu lifestyle is interrupted when his uptight brother Alan, who is facing a divorce, and Alan’s son, Jake, come to stay with him. Together, these two and a half men face the challenges of growing up… finally. Complicating matters are the brothers’ self-centered, controlling mother, Evelyn, Alan’s estranged wife, Judith, and Charlie’s crazy neighbor Rose, who wants to be part of his life and is willing to do anything to be around.
