Introduction:

Hong Kong banking tycoon's daughter May Soi is set to marry her fiancé Goto Yuji in the United States. However, on the big day, Goto doesn't show up. Disappointed, May travels to Tokyo to look for Goto. Meanwhile, interior designer Big Wing Poon also heads to Tokyo as he hasn't received the promised remuneration from Goto. To their surprise, once in Tokyo, not only do they fail to find Goto, but they are also attacked by gangster thugs. Each time they're in a tight spot, private detective Kui Sum Lam comes to their rescue. Lam informs May that Goto was having an affair with Itou's (the Japanese mafia boss) mistress, Mei Snow, and thus became the target of the mafia's assassination plot. In order to find the missing Goto, May has also become Itou's hunting target.

Faced with the sudden series of unexpected events, May feels utterly lost. She is disappointed by Goto's change of heart, yet worried about his safety. With no other options, May decides to cooperate with Kui Sum Lam to track down Goto's whereabouts and get some answers from him. Soon after, May discovers that Kui Sum Lam's identity isn't as simple as he claims, and Big Wing Poon who has been following them closely seems to have ulterior motives.
