Introduction:
Curry and Pepper are childhood friends who grew up together. Though they appear to be carefree, they are the toughest police officers in all of Tsim Sha Tsui. Meanwhile, the police are investigating a drug case but accidentally have it ruined by Curry and Pepper. Curry and Pepper use their informant, Xiao Shi, to track down the whereabouts of Sun Gou, only for Shi's identity to be exposed, resulting in his brutal murder. Overcome with grief, the two team up to capture Sun Gou in order to avenge Shi, leading to an intense life-and-death battle.
Review:
At the time, this was considered a very funny film. Although Zhang Xueyou is the lead actor in the movie, Zhou Xingchi’s charisma already begins to overshadow him, and hints of Zhou Xingchi's later stylized performances can already be seen. The film not only features many comedic scenes but also explosive gunfight sequences. The ending where Curry and Pepper fight their way onto a yacht remains memorable even today. Additionally, the humor provided by Eric Tsang and the ferocity of Jimmy Koh add to the highlights of the film.
