The story follows Ah Huo, who has loved racing since childhood but was unable to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional racer due to financial constraints. As an adult, he works as a technician for a major Japanese car manufacturer, responsible for testing new vehicles.
However, his career takes a turn when he is falsely accused and loses his job. Back in Hong Kong, he works at his father's old garage, specializing in car modifications, while also assisting the police in investigating illegal racing organizations. Thanks to his deep knowledge of cars, he excels in his investigative work. During his mission, Ah Huo befriends journalist Amy, and they become close companions.
One day, they uncover that a car theft ring is using illegal racers to transport stolen luxury vehicles. The ring's leader, Cook, is a fearless racer. With Ah Huo's help, the police capture Cook, but due to insufficient evidence, the trial is delayed, allowing Cook to escape from prison and challenge Ah Huo to a showdown on the race track.
Soon, Cook joins a Japanese daredevil racing team participating in the Sendai International Car Race. With the support of friends and his life savings, Ah Huo purchases a race car and competes against Cook in Japan. In a fierce battle, Ah Huo ultimately defeats his opponent, winning the championship and successfully bringing the professional killer Cook to justice...
