Plot:
This movie is a prequel to the 1964 Pink Panther series "The Night Gun". It tells the story of a man who accidentally sees his ancestral treasure - the super "Pink Panther" diamond and subsequently dies unexpectedly, with the diamond disappearing. French Inspector Clouseau and his partner Ponton go to investigate this case, but when he sees the biggest suspect in this case - the deceased's beautiful singer girlfriend Hania, he is immediately captivated by her. Meanwhile, a murder case involving the manager of the French football team occurs, with the notorious "football killer" ruthlessly killing stars in the team. Clouseau must suppress his own lust, uncover the truth behind these cases, and bring the real criminal to justice.
A world-renowned coach in international football is murdered, and his priceless ring is stolen by the murderer. The ring is extremely valuable because it is embedded with the precious "Pink Panther" diamond. The French government needs a competent detective to solve this murder case and recover the gemstone. But they can't find the right person, so they decide to reassign Inspector Clouseau (Steve Martin). Thus, a new adventure for Inspector Clouseau begins. Who is the murderer? Is it that famous pop star (Beyonce Knowles)? At this time, Detective Clouseau naturally thinks of his old partner Burton (Jean Reno) first, hoping he will lend a hand again. This golden duo not only has to reveal the true identity of the murderer but also has to be careful that their boss Devereaux (Kevin Kline) doesn't take all the credit. In short, everything is as crazy and funny as before, with all legal knowledge being thrown out of their minds. Beware, the "Pink Panther craze" will strike your funny bone again.
