Introduction:
This movie is based on the life of renowned American football player Ernie Davis. He was the first African-American to win the prestigious Heisman Trophy, the highest honor in college football (equivalent to the Most Valuable Player award). He led the Syracuse University football team to two national championships in 1960 and 1961. However, after graduation, he was unable to participate in professional football games because he was diagnosed with leukemia. Unfortunately, he passed away the following year.
