Plot Introduction:
Carol (played by Nicole Kidman), a renowned psychiatrist in Washington D.C., has achieved a certain level of success in her career. She is well-regarded both in her professional circle and among family and friends. Her collaboration with her partner Ben (Daniel Craig), who works at the same hospital, runs smoothly as well. However, one day, the discovery of an unknown virus completely disrupts their normal work and life. After conducting experiments, making discoveries, and gathering evidence, Carol and Ben ultimately confirm that this mysterious virus is not a product of Earth but comes from outer space. Moreover, this virus carries a hidden secret. The meticulous Carol tries to quickly find a cure to control the spread of this epidemic and uncover its origin. After much searching, Carol astonishingly discovers that her own flesh and blood, her young son Oliver (Jackson Bond), is the only "savior" capable of stopping this infectious disease.
