Introduction:
An ultimate showdown between Jason Statham of "Transporter" and Wesley Snipes of "Blade," this action-packed film combines high-intelligence crime with complex character relationships.
One morning in Seattle, five armed men stormed into a bank and took nearly forty employees and customers hostage. Despite their apparent professionalism and experience, they made a critical mistake when one of the bank clerks secretly triggered the alarm. As police quickly surrounded the area, the leader of the robbers, Lorenz, demanded to speak with an officer he knew, Quentin Conners.
Conners had previously caused the death of Lorenz's brothers during a case, and now he was on suspension due to a severe error. At the request of the authorities, Conners reluctantly accepted the assignment while on vacation and partnered with a rookie, Dekker. At the scene of the bank robbery, Conners used his extensive investigative experience to quickly analyze the dire situation facing both the police and the robbers. With one hostage already dead, he decided that he must enter the bank at all costs and take necessary measures to prevent further casualties. However, the cunning robbers were prepared, torturing hostages to prevent the police from secretly approaching and detonating powerful bombs they had pre-set when the police attempted a raid. Instantly, the inside and outside of the bank were engulfed in flames, and frightened people fled in all directions. Conners began to realize that a more intense battle than they had imagined was about to begin, marking the start of the confrontation between good and evil.
Clues gradually emerged; Dekker discovered that the robbers had used the computer system to move a large sum of money. Upon further investigation, it turned out his superior was involved. So, he continued to track the robbers' movements, only to find out unexpectedly that Officer Conners was ultimately behind everything, making it a truly complicated and chaotic battle.
