Introduction:
Adapted from the best-selling Hong Kong comic book. The creative partnership of writer Johnny To and director Wai Keung Lau brings a fresh and fashionable lifestyle to package the hero films that were once popular more than ten years ago, resulting in immense popularity. It turned Ekin Cheng into a star, and the film became unstoppable with four sequels and two spin-offs, becoming a small miracle in recent years for Hong Kong films. The plot describes how Chen Hao Nan and his good friend Mountain Chicken were bullied by thugs when they were young, thus aspiring to rise to prominence through the underworld. Later, they joined the Hung Sun Society and became new up-and-coming figures in the underworld. In order to compete for territory with the rival Lei Kwun, both sides engaged in fierce battles. The casting and performances in the entire film were quite successful, with actors like Chen Xiao Chun, Wu Zhen Yu, Li Zi, and even Lin Shang Yi who played the pastor delivering vivid performances. The handling of details was quite entertaining.
