Synopsis:

Story Overview

Male thief Wang Bo (played by Andy Lau) and female thief Wang Li (played by Renae Liu) are a pair of pickpocket partners, as well as wandering lovers on the run. On a train, they meet a farmer named Simple Root (played by Baoqiang Wang), who has just earned some money in the city and is returning home to build a house and marry a wife. Simple Root doesn't believe that there are thieves in the world; initially, Wang Bo and Wang Li planned to steal from him, but later they were moved by his simplicity and decided to protect Simple Root, fulfilling his dream of a world without thieves. This decision leads to a series of open conflicts and covert struggles with another pickpocket gang (with Ge You playing their leader)...
