My SEO -- Generation Gap

I've been accustomed to using Google News Alerts to keep up with the trends surrounding the keyword "SEO."

On December 21st, I received an alert for an article titled "(Repost) Authentic Guangzhou-born Post-90s: Ridiculously Cringeworthy Conversations! The moral fabric is deteriorating!" and it was tagged as SEO info!? ⊙﹏⊙b sweat...

When I opened the link, the word "SEO" appeared twice in the entire article:

“I went to BonBon last night... drank so SEO wing... then I even went to open a room with some guy..."

"Are you this SEO young not supposed to smoke, drink, and party?"

...Totally absurd...

I'm sure many people are as confused as I am about what this "SEO" is supposed to mean.

To be honest, I've been listening to Cantonese for over 20 years, and I have no idea what it means...

With no other options, I had to ask my cousin who lives in Guangzhou...

She replied with one character: “閪” ... and suddenly everything made sense.

This is because when you use full pinyin input, typing "seo" gives you this character.
