Plot Introduction:
Jason (Michael A. Angarano) is probably the world's biggest collector of kung fu movies, except for Quentin Tarantino.
One summer day, this seventeen-year-old boy rode his bicycle to a pawnshop in Boston's Chinatown to look for collectible Chinese kung fu films, but he always ran into trouble when passing through the alleys near his home because Jason was often targeted by a gang of hoodlums and frequently bullied by them. Jason was adept at video games and knew all about kung fu films; he always wished that he could also become a kung fu master. However, the owner of the shop, Mr. Ho, thought that Jason didn't have what it takes, as he didn't even know what kung fu truly was.
On this day, Jason accidentally discovered a mysterious golden cudgel in the pawnshop and suddenly crossed through the "door without a door" to ancient China!
