According to foreign media reports on April 25th, Beijing time, the US tech blog AppleInsider revealed two new patents of Apple on Thursday. According to the patent description, iOS devices can control and locate parked cars through wireless connectivity functions. These two new patents from Apple use the Bluetooth function of iOS devices to find parked vehicles within its coverage range and obtain parking fee information. Moreover, when the user approaches the vehicle, some functions of the vehicle can be activated, such as opening the car door, starting the electric window and engine. One of these patents is called Vehicle Location Method. This patent uses the Bluetooth function to determine whether the user's vehicle is stationary. If it is in a parking state, the device will locate the vehicle's parking position through a wireless system until the device is out of the Bluetooth coverage range. When the device re-enters the Bluetooth coverage area, it will enter the parking structure location system and request the current geographical location of the vehicle. After receiving the new geographical location information, the user can find the parking location according to the route map.The other patent is called Starting a Vehicle Using a Portable Device, which means controlling the vehicle with a handheld device via Bluetooth function, such as turning on the car radio, opening the car door, lowering the window, and starting the engine, etc. (kirk)
