"Temple Run: Oz" had 3.4 times more downloads on Google Play compared to Amazon Appstore. The difference in performance between Google Play and Amazon Appstore for paid apps is much smaller. In March, the top 200 paid apps on Amazon Appstore had 1.6 million downloads generating $3 million in revenue, while the top 200 paid apps on Google Play generated $5.2 million in revenue during the same period. If considering the top 1000 paid apps, the app download volume on Google Play is about twice that of Amazon Appstore.
