In Apple's press release, Phil Schiller, Apple's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, stated that developers attending the event will get a glimpse of the latest versions of Apple's software for the iPhone and Mac.

The main purpose of the WWDC is to allow Apple to showcase its latest software and technology to developers.

This year's highlight is the performance of Craig Federighi and Jonathan Ive, who have taken over some of Scott Forstall's responsibilities after his departure from Apple late last year. What kind of surprises they will bring is highly anticipated. (Jin Rong)
