At Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference, a preview of the new Snow Leopard (OS X10.6) operating system was shown, following the unveiling of a much improved 3G iPhone. Apple is hoping that Snow Leopard will "build on the incredible success" of its predecessor. Improvements in Snow Leopard will include better support for multi-processors, greater support for GPUs, better use of large amounts of RAM, and support for Apple's new QuickTime®; X platform for Mac computers. The operating system will ship in around a year and supports Microsoft's Exchange Server 2007.
