Apple Announces New 3.06GHz iMac

The frequency of 3.06GHz might ring a bell from the Pentium 4, but today Apple has launched a Core 2 based processor. They've updated the iMac product line to reach the highest speed of the 45nm Penryn architecture, and it also includes 6MB of L2 Cache.
