Apple computer catches fire, a user in Japan awarded $20,000 in compensation

Kyodo News Agency in Japan quoted sources on Monday as saying that Apple and Sony have recently agreed to pay about 1.3 million yen (approximately USD 12,903) in compensation to settle a lawsuit filed by a couple in Tsubaki City, Osaka Prefecture, over the fire of an Apple notebook computer.
