Unboxing a Brand New Apple II from 1988

On Thursday evening, Kathryn and I (Daniel) unpacked an Apple II that we had just bought on eBay. There are quite a few old Apple IIs on eBay, but this one was very special—it was brand new, unopened since it rolled off the production line in 1988. Today, it finally saw the light of day. At first, I was somewhat hesitant, debating whether to open this antique or let it remain as a collectible. In the end, I decided to open it because that’s why I bought it on eBay—to experience it. My first computer was an Apple II (incidentally, the first computer I ever used over twenty years ago was also an Apple II).
