MacBook Air, another lame product from Apple

On January 16, 2008, at Macworld 2008, Jobs walked onto the stage holding a thin paper envelope in his hand. Countless eyes were fixed on him and the envelope, speculating what new gadget he would pull out this year after unveiling the iPhone last year.

Oh! The answer came quickly—Jobs and the large screen behind him simultaneously revealed a square piece of metal... Damn, it wasn't just a piece of metal; it was an ultra-thin laptop!

The MacBook Air (referred to as MBA), fans of Apple's products had another reason to go crazy.

Jobs and his resurgent Apple company seemed increasingly passionate about pushing a product to its ultimate form, and this obsessive enthusiasm gave birth to a series of products that made people exclaim. However, what I want to say is that they seem too focused on taste, style, and catchy gimmicks, ignoring some functional deficiencies or design flaws that can be very troubling for users. And what frustrates me is their repeated success, as it seems more and more people are willing to overlook one aspect for a better experience in another, leaving balance and comprehensiveness far behind.

It’s hard to say whether the trend set by Apple is good or bad.
