On March 9, 2011, VMware announced that customers could get the VMware View™ Client for iPad free of charge from the App Store. This made it possible for iPad users to access their virtual Windows desktops, applications and data anytime and anywhere! The VMware View client for iPad is the first iPad client to support the PCoIP protocol, allowing users to access via LAN, WAN, WiFi or 3G.
