In fact, there are already many ways to make a PC run MacOSX, but these methods are all very complex and inconvenient for installation and use. Lifehacker teaches everyone a method to create a USB flash drive that can boot up an Intel PC, making it run a system called iPortableSnow OSX 10.6.2.
You just need to prepare the following materials:
After formatting an 8G USB flash drive, extract the downloaded iPortableSnow (about 2.6G), which will be approximately 5.8G after extraction (must be processed in the MacOS system). It contains a tutorial PDF file, please refer to the English instructions.
1. Please use the Disk Utility in MacOS to format the USB drive in MBR format. (An 8G USB drive that supports e-SATA high-speed disk will be faster! No need to buy a 16G one as it's only 5.8G after extraction.)
2. Use CopycatX to select IPOS to the USB drive or partitioned area, perform backup or restoration. (If copied to the main system, it will not boot.)
3. Perform the restoration by selecting your backup file IPMACOS.
4. Wait 2~14 minutes to complete.
