Gore, Apple Board Member, Wins Nobel Peace Prize

Al Gore, former US Vice President and member of Apple's board of directors, was awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize today. In response, the front page of Apple's official website was specially updated to congratulate him. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change also shared the Nobel Peace Prize with Gore. On the homepage, Apple wrote: Over the past many years, Al has devoted his heart and most of his life to educating everyone about the crisis brought by climate change. We are glad that his contributions to the Earth have been historically recognized... After stepping down as Vice President, Gore dedicated most of his time to the cause of climate change, giving speeches all over the world.
