The iPod + Nike Sport Kit consists of two components: the Nike Tunes — placed in your Nike athletic shoes, it can sense your exercise intensity, automatically track your running time, distance, and steps, and send this exercise data to the iPod. The iPod plug-in receives and records your exercise data, allowing you to synchronize the data to a PC after your workout using dedicated software to record your exercise data and calorie consumption.
