Tests show Apple's Safari 4 beta browser is 38 percent faster than Firefox

Apple's Safari 4 browser comes in a close second to Google's Chrome in JavaScript rendering, according to tests. PC Advisor sister site Computerworld tested some browsers for JavaScript rendering and found that the new Safari 4 comes in practically neck-and-neck with the latest build of Google's Chrome.
