[Starc Island Net] At the 2007 MacWorld Conference in San Francisco, Apple Computer unveiled the long-awaited iPhone mobile product and the video product AppleTV. At the same time, CEO Jobs announced that Apple Computer would be renamed "Apple Inc.", emphasizing the company's focus on consumer electronics.

The iPhone will be priced at $499, controlled via a touch screen, can play music, surf the internet, and run the Macintosh operating system. It is less than half an inch thick, making it thinner than almost all the current phones on the market. It features a 2-megapixel digital camera, as well as headphone jack and a SIM card slot.
