Google Checkout is exposed

Google CheckOut - the Google online trading platform previously known by the media as Google GBuy - is ready for its official debut. Starting this weekend, Checkout.Google.com has begun server loading and IP address distribution.

According to information previously released by Google, Google CheckOut will be entirely different from eBay's person-to-person online sales model, instead being closer to PayPal's online payment system, and it will "fill existing gaps."
