Google launches Firefox sync plugin

The strong plugin support and freedom of settings in Firefox are its biggest advantages, but this is also one of its drawbacks: it's not easy for first-time users to get started. It can also be troublesome when reinstalling the system or using another computer. With this in mind, Firefox plugin developers came up with a solution by creating a plugin that allows you to save your Firefox settings locally. After reinstallation, you can directly use these settings again, or even store them on your USB drive for portability. However, as we live in an era of the internet, it would be even better if all of this could be saved on a trustworthy server for easy access anytime. This led to the creation of Google Browser Sync.
