Are Google employees pitiful?

Googler, or Google employee, is very valuable. Remember a previous survey on this site? On average, each Google employee is worth 19 million US dollars. However, Valleywag, known for its gossip, has brought us more interesting news: it turns out that Google employees don't get as high salaries as people imagined, even though their bosses and the company are all very rich.
