Olympic Flame Reaches the Summit of Mount Everest (Multimedia Live Broadcast)

At night on May 7th in Beijing Time, an urgent press conference of the Mount Everest Olympic torch relay was held at Rongbu Temple News Center. Shaoshiwei, deputy Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Beijing Olympic Games Organizing Committee stated that the command post had already given the instruction for climbing to the summit tomorrow; the Mount Everest torch would reach the summit on May 8th. The expected time for reaching the summit on May 8th is around 10:00am to 11:00am.
