[Ski Resort Introduction]:
Beijing Huainorth International Ski Resort is an all-season tourism and leisure sports venue that integrates skiing, catering, sightseeing, and accommodation. It is located 18 kilometers north of the Huairou district, 5 kilometers north of Yanqi Lake in Jiugukou Natural Scenic Area. Here, surrounded by mountains and water, the Great Wall winds around, integrating natural scenery with humanistic landscapes, making it a famous scenic spot in Huairou. Inside the ski resort, the Ming Great Wall follows the mountain range and connects with the famous "Mutianyu" section of the Great Wall. Among them, the unique "Jiabian Tower" watchtower is a distinctive landscape within the ten-thousand-li Great Wall.
Beijing Huainorth International Ski Resort has a ski run length of 3800 meters and a height difference of 238 meters. It consists of 2 advanced runs, 1 intermediate run, and 4 beginner runs, making it the longest and largest international-grade ski resort in the Beijing area. The resort features a 1200-meter sightseeing cable car and 6 rope tows. Its comprehensive building, ski shop, restaurant, and guest rooms (snow-view villas) integrate various entertainment facilities, providing quality and convenient services for skiers. The Chinese and Western fast food can accommodate 800 people dining simultaneously. The resort operates from late November to early March each year. At the same time, more than 60 professional ski coaches will guide you, ensuring that visitors come with joy and leave with satisfaction.
Beijing Huainorth International Ski Resort has two high-altitude cable cars, allowing visitors to soar over the Great Wall and reach the advanced run with a height difference of 238 meters, enjoying the panoramic view of the mountains and the magnificent scenery of the Great Wall. Here, modern civilization and ancient culture collide intensely, complementing each other, and the wonders of nature and its unpredictability are fully displayed here.
During the snow season, the accumulated snow thickness inside Beijing Huainorth International Ski Resort can reach 1 meter. With white snow, azure skies, majestic Great Walls, fresh air, and artificial snowflakes flying everywhere, the ultra-high content of negative oxygen ions allows visitors to personally experience the grandeur described by Li Bai in his poem about the northern country: "The snowflakes on Mount Yan are as large as mats."
[Precautions]:
Skiing insurance has already been purchased. In case of an accident, compensation will be made by the insurance company and is unrelated to the organizers! (Do not register if you do not agree with this point.)
1. Skiers must protect and take care of their own ski gear to avoid damage or loss leading to compensation.
2. Skiers must keep their ski tickets safe, which serve as proof of skiing time and access to the rope tows and cable cars.
3. Skiers must keep the locker keys safe and ensure empty pockets when returning ski suits to avoid loss of property.
4. Skiers should avoid bringing valuable items into the ski resort to prevent unforeseen incidents.
5. People suffering from heart, cardiovascular, or other diseases unsuitable for outdoor activities should not participate in this event.
[Skiing Tips]:
1. Snow cap: Keeps warm and prevents discomfort caused by strong cold winds during exercise;
2. Gloves: Keep warm and prevent cuts, but choose gloves with waterproof outer material;
3. Sunglasses: Prevent snow blindness due to the very bright sunlight reflected by the snow, which may cause temporary blindness;
4. Sunscreen: Protects against strong ultraviolet rays and tanning. Do not neglect this because it is winter, the ultraviolet rays in the sunlight reflected by the snow are even stronger (ladies who love beauty must remember this!);
5. Do not ski on an empty stomach.
6. Before skiing, do warm-up exercises under the guidance of a coach.
