The breasts of a normal woman are symmetrical and semi-spherical, with the nipples located at their apex, surrounded by a ring of pigmentation known as the areola. This pigmentation becomes significantly darker during pregnancy. The shape of the breasts can vary greatly, including discoid, conical, semi-spherical, spindle-shaped, and pendulous forms. In some individuals, there are 4-6 additional breast-like structures along the triangular line from below both armpits to the pubic bone, which is a remnant of human evolution.
