Drink Good Water
Try to avoid drinking distilled water regularly (distilled water is generally too acidic, which can easily harm the body and is even more detrimental to people with weaker kidneys). Instead, you can choose high-quality mineral water. If possible, drinking alkaline water is most beneficial for the human body; otherwise, water filtered by a home water filter and boiled before drinking is also acceptable.
Drink Warm Water
Many people like to drink ice water. In fact, ice water is not good for the stomach function, while drinking warm water is more beneficial as it helps the body absorb water better.
How to Drink Water?
Drink on an Empty Stomach
Of course, water can be drunk at any time. However, drinking only when thirsty often just quenches thirst and does not address the body's needs effectively. The effective way to drink water is to drink it on an empty stomach, as water will flow directly through the digestive tract and be absorbed by the body; drinking after a meal has less benefit for health than drinking on an empty stomach.
Balance Intake and Output
People who work in offices often neglect drinking water due to work-related reasons. Here, I would like to remind all friends not to avoid drinking water because of the excuse of "going to the toilet frequently." If this continues for a long time, the bladder and kidneys will be damaged, making it easy to cause lower back pain.
Water Drinking Schedule
Here is a recommended "water drinking schedule" for your reference:
6:30 - After a whole night's sleep, the body begins to lack water. When you get up, drink 250CC of water first, which can help the kidneys and liver detoxify.
8:30 - The process from getting up in the morning to arriving at the office is always particularly tight, and the mood is more tense. The body may experience dehydration without notice. Therefore, after arriving at the office, don't rush to brew coffee; give yourself at least 250CC of water!
11:00 - After working in the air-conditioned room for some time, you must take advantage of standing up and moving around to drink your third cup of water for the day, replenishing lost fluids, which helps relax the tense work mood!
12:50 - Half an hour after lunch, drink some water to enhance the body's digestive function.
15:00 - Replace afternoon tea or coffee with a glass of healthy mineral water! It can refresh the mind and invigorate the brain.
17:30 - Before leaving the office after work, drink another glass of water to increase satiety, so that you won't overeat during dinner later.
22:00 - Drink another glass of water 1 to half an hour before sleeping! Today, you have consumed 2000CC of water already. But don't drink too much at once to avoid affecting sleep quality by going to the bathroom at night.
