The Olympic flame shines today in ancient Huizhou: the torch is relayed today in Jixi and Mount Huang.

After the relay in the three stations of Hefei, Huainan and Wuhu, the Olympic torch will continue to be relayed today in Ji County and Yellow Mountain, which is also the last day for the torch to be relayed within our province.

It was reported that on the evening of May 29th, after completing the relay in Wuhu, the torch was transferred by car to Ji County. The running ceremony was held at Jixi Xiangyun Square at 9:00 this morning, and the torch began to be relayed in Ji County. The relaying time was about one hour. The total length of the relay route was 8.56 kilometers, including 4.07 kilometers by car, and the remaining 4.49 kilometers by running. There were a total of 80 torchbearers who participated in the relay in Ji County, with an average distance of 56 meters per torchbearer. The specific relay route was as follows: Xiangyun Square (starting point) - Dongshan Road - County Court (by car) through Dengyuan Road, Yangzhi South Road, Gongtie overpass onto Huishan Avenue - the intersection of Huishan Avenue and S217 (end point). Around 10:00, the torch reached the intersection of Huishan Avenue and S217 for the flame recovery, ending the relay in Ji County, then immediately transferred to Yellow Mountain.

At 14:00 today, the lighting ceremony was held at the large roundabout on Tungang Avenue in Tunxi District, and the torch began to be relayed in Yellow Mountain. The relay lasted about 3 hours and 20 minutes. The total length of the relay route in Yellow Mountain was 23.8 kilometers, including 14.8 kilometers by car, and the remaining 9 kilometers by running. There were a total of 120 torchbearers who participated in the relay in Yellow Mountain, with an average distance of 75 meters per torchbearer. The specific relay route was as follows: Tungang Big Roundabout (starting point) - Beihai Avenue - Hengjiang Bridge - Mediacom Hotel - Tea Expo Park - Shuai Water Bridge - Huangshan University - Jingshen Road - Xinyuan International Grand Hotel - Huizhou Avenue - Pelang River Bridge - Huizhou Avenue - Huangkou Bridge - Municipal Public Security Bureau - Changgan East Road - An East Road - Binjiang East Road - Municipal Stadium Square (end point). At 17:00, the torch relay reached the Municipal Stadium, and the flame recovery ceremony was held inside the stadium, ending the relay in Yellow Mountain.

At 20:00 on May 30th, the torch team flew away from Yellow Mountain. Thus, all the torch relay activities in Anhui Province were completed.
