The Seven Stars (Rock) Scenic Area is located on the east bank of the Lijiang River in Guilin, by the Xiaodong River branch of the Lijiang, 1.5 kilometers from the downtown area. It is named after the Seven Stars Mountain and Seven Stars Cave, and is the largest comprehensive ecological scenic area in Guilin. Covering an area of approximately 134.7 hectares, it integrates green mountains, clear waters, unique caves and beautiful stones, becoming a miniature of Guilin's landscapes. It has been a tourist attraction since the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and is now a recommended scenic spot by the World Tourism Organization, one of China's first batch of AAAA-level scenic spots, a key national scenic spot, and the core scenic area of Guilin. It has also passed the ISO14001 international environmental management system certification and the ISO9001 international quality management system certification. Moreover, for more than a thousand years, the four major religious beliefs in China - Buddhism, Taoism, Islam and Confucianism - have successively influenced the scenic area, leaving a distinct mark of religious culture here, endowing the scenic area with the unique charm of "the integration of four religions".
