30 Flights Were Forced To Land In Other Places

From around 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the evening of the previous day, there was thunderstorm weather above Baiyun Airport. When the thunderstorm occurred, it was just during the peak period of outbound flights from Baiyun Airport. Therefore, over 60 outbound flights from Guangzhou were delayed, affecting nearly 4000 passengers. Among them, China Southern Airlines cancelled eight flights departing from Guangzhou, including Flight 6302 to Wenzhou, Flights 3380 and 3388 to Changsha, Flight 3392 to Zhengzhou, Flight 3595 to Shanghai, Flight 371 to Hanoi, Flight 3898 to Shantou, and Flight 6778 to Haikou. Thirty-nine flights departing from Guangzhou were forced to delay.
