The world's tallest Ferris wheel, Singapore's Observation Wheel "Singapore Flyer" has officially commenced commercial operations. This Ferris wheel is 165 meters tall, equivalent to the height of a 42-storey building, and is claimed to be currently the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, 30 meters taller than the "London Eye" Ferris wheel in the UK.
