Nianqing Gonggarisonggongbu (Tibetan for "the three holy mountains of law expansion that are permanently snow-capped") spans more than a thousand square kilometers. Its main part consists of three snow peaks that are completely separated but not far from each other, arranged in a "pin" shape. The northern peak Xianaini is 6032 meters, the southern peak Yangmaiyong is 5958 meters, and the eastern peak Xiannuoduoji is 5958 meters. The three snow peaks are white and steep, like sharp swords piercing the clouds. Xianaini looks like a Buddha majestically sitting on a lotus throne; Yangmaiyong looks like a maiden, graceful and dignified, pure as ice and jade; Xiannuoduoji looks like a youth, strong and resolute, full of spirit. Surrounding the snow peaks are numerous horn peaks, more than thirty large and small ones, all with various postures, forming a spectacular sight. In front of the mountain peaks lie sapphire-like lakes and grasslands. Below the snowline, glaciers extend straight into the pristine forest. Snow mountains, cliffs, steep precipices, lakes, glaciers, pastures, forests, and streams create for us a tranquil and peaceful world beyond the mundane.
