Accidentally entered a nude beach in the U.S., to enter or not?

Our car slowly drove along the Peninsula Highway. There are many beaches along the Peninsula. We stopped and asked a young policewoman for directions to the Gunnison Beach that had been recommended to us. The blonde policewoman was very热情 and after giving directions, she added "Have fun!" After thanking the policewoman, we continued our drive and finally saw the sign for Gunnison Beach. We arrived at the beach. Checking the watch, it took only a little over an hour including waiting in line to pass through the highway electronic toll booth. After getting out of the car and looking around, we were shocked! Turns out this was a "nude beach". Everyone suddenly felt deceived and frustrated. It wasn't right to go in, but it wasn't right to go back either. Together, we all complained to the organizer of the activity.
