If you go to Dalian, you must take a look at the Haizhiyun Square, also known as the Donghai Park. Introduction: Haizhiyun Square is the entrance of the northeast section of the Binhai Road, and also the north entrance of the Haizhiyun Park. It echoes with Xinghai Square from afar. The square covers an area of 38,000 square meters, consisting of a 13,000-square-meter paved square, 12,000 square meters of green space and many sculptures. In the center of the square, there is a sculpture made of five white steel pipes with different curvatures, which is 19.9 meters long, symbolizing that September 1999 was the 100th anniversary of Dalian's establishment as a city; 21 flying seagulls symbolize flying towards the 21st century; 50 balls of different sizes represent atomic structure, and also imply the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. It looks like a lively long dragon, named "Haizhiyun". Standing in the center of the square, what catches the eye is the artificial waterfall. Its drop is 60 meters. The source of the waterfall is Shengu Garden. Take a look at this totem garden crowded with countless strange images, and you will understand: this is an ancient world, a spiritual home of human beings. Seaweed houses, wooden floors, fences, African girls with water jars on their heads and graceful figures, ancient tough men with face-like masks, bird-mouthed human shapes, hugging large lizards, woodpecker-headed various totems all reflect the harmonious and intimate relationship between human and nature, and among humans. There are five groups of themes for the square sculptures. "A Family of Three": depicts the scene of a family of three happily going to see the sea on weekends; "Maternal Affection": in the seaside garden, a young mother carefully ties her son's shoelaces; "Fishing": on the sea dike, two anglers, one fat and one tall, are fishing, with motorcycles parked behind them, reflecting the change of times when people not only eat well and dress well, but also begin to pursue returning to nature and spiritual enjoyment. The most interesting one is "Playing Chess": an old man sits on a wooden bench under the shade of a tree, facing a chessboard with remaining pieces, and many tourists have taken pictures here with the image of a wise person playing chess with the old man. "Young Pioneers": depicts the joyful scene of a female teacher leading nine Young Pioneers to spend the summer camp by the sea. Distance
