On the occasion of Shenzhen's 30th anniversary celebration, the integration of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone has become a reality: the State Council made a reply to Guangdong Province "Application for Extending the Scope of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone", agreeing to extend the scope of Shenzhen Special Zone to the whole city, including Bao'an and Longgang districts. After the integration, the existing Shenzhen Special Zone management line will be temporarily retained and no new ones will be set up.
