In fact, during a previous trip to Wuzhen, I didn't have particularly good impressions. At that time, my preference for ancient towns was more focused on the relatively simple and lively atmosphere of places like Xitang. In comparison, the so-called "prosperity" of Wuzhen's Xizha area seemed somewhat out of place to me.

However, in this article, I will not talk about Xizha first. Wuzhen is divided into four areas: East, West, South, and North Zha, plus a central market. The East Zha area was developed earliest in 2001, followed by the development of the West Zha area in 2003. To date, the South and North Zha areas have not been officially developed, making them destinations for tourists seeking adventure. Indeed, people are increasingly disinterested in what are considered typical tourist attractions.

The South Zha area is very close to the East Zha area. If you walk south along Changxin Street, you will reach South Zha. The bustling scene in the photos will disappear after just a short distance of dozens of meters, and this sense of prosperity is actually due to the influence of the East Zha area.

I was still very excited as we were finally about to reach South Zha, which was also my most anticipated destination before setting out.
