Putuo Mountain is the main part of the Seven Star Park. It consists of four peaks - Tianchu, Tianxuan, Tianji and Tianquan from the northwest side of Seven Star Mountain. With an elevation of 265 meters, it is commonly called Putuo because of the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva worshipped on the mountain. Putuo Mountain boasts abundant landscapes and many rock caves and pavilions. Among them, Seven Star Cave is the most famous, while the structures of X霞 Pavilion and Bixu Pavilion are particularly unique. At the west foot of the mountain lies Yuanfeng Cave. Even in the sweltering heat of midsummer, cool breezes blow here. From here, following the osmanthus shaded path northward for a short distance, you will reach the Putuo Gate. After entering the gate and climbing up the mountain, you can see multiple scenic spots such as Putuo Stone Forest, Putuo Building, Avalokitesvara Cave, Xuankong Pavilion, etc. Finally reaching the Zhaixing Pavilion at the Tianji Peak, standing atop the pavilion and gazing far into the distance, one can enjoy the magnificent scenery described by the great Song Dynasty poet Liu Kezhuang: "Thousand peaks encircle the wilderness, a river embraces the city and flows".
