If Guilin's landscape is the art of nature, then, Fools' Paradise in Guilin is an exposition park for human sculpture art. Located at Dabu Town, Yanshan District between Guilin and Yangshuo County, Fools' Paradise is a large earthscape art park with modern sculpture and cave art as its main features. The park displays a large number of works created over the years by world-renowned sculptors. With profound humanistic inspiration and artistic wisdom, they add a heavy cultural element to the surrounding natural landscape. Natural art and humanistic spirit complement each other, creating a breathtaking experience that makes visitors reflect or feel joy. After many years of dedicated creativity, the first phase of Fools' Paradise covers an area of 700 mu (one tenth of the entire construction plan) and was officially opened to the public in Spring 2003.
